I really think music and movement - dance, you know - and literature inform my visuals. I think film is also based in dance. The relationship between me, the camera and the actor is always a dance.

Alain born in France and grew up in Paris from a French mother and an Egyptian father. He has lived between Paris and Sicily which is the meeting point between his ancestors cultures.

He worked as a Data Manager and DIT NEAR SET on long features and TV series in Rome (Italy). Coming from martial arts, artistic gymnastic and comic books drawing his first profession since 20 years is dancing. He worked as a dancer for companies in France, Germany and Italy.

As a videomaker he worked for several dance companies for promotional contents.

As a filmmmaker Alain have been directing his own work together with the « QBR Collective » basing it on combining several savoir-faire of dance with the grammar and genres of cinema.

He gives several workshops for dance students about video and film dance beetween Italy and France.
